Arabica coffee drying on elevated wire mesh trays at Oldeani Estate. Between 60 and 65 percent of Tanzanian coffee is Arabica coffee, while the balance is made up by Robusta. Arabica coffee is primarily grown in the northern regions of Oldeani, Arusha and Kilimanjaro, and in the south-eastern regions of Mbeya and Mbinga. Robusta coffee grows in Tanzania’s north-western Kagera region.
