My coffee today is one of the rarest of coffees, from Tanna Island in Vanuatu in the South Pacific. This is one of the world’s 90 coffee origins that qualifies for being among the tiniest coffee islands on the globe and the delightful beans was a special delivery from friends at Australian roasters Coffee Brothers. Coffee Brothers first visited the growers at Tanna Island in 2011 and was so impressed with the conditions and quality potential that the company started working with a select group of small holder producers to improve productivity and quality. The Tanna beans have mild acidity, yet a very balanced body and aroma.![]()
